Narrative approaches to therapy focus on our identity, who we are and who we want to be, through the re-telling and re-authoring of the stories that make up the narrative and chapters of our lives.
When someone asks you to ‘tell me about yourself’, what do you say? Do you tell them about your work and career? Do you tell them about your family? Your childhood? What you hope for in the future?
What stories about yourself do you tell to others? to yourself? Are there some stories that are positive and others that are negative (seems natural, we all do)?
